The purpose of this project is to design and execute a Clinical Trials Database (CTD) to be maintained on the re-designed Stop TB Partnership Working Group on New TB Drugs (WGND) website and to execute a strategy to promote the use of the CTD to the target audience.
The CTD Project will serve as an information sharing portal that will facilitate coordination of clinical TB drug trials. Below is more detailed information on the four major sections we are developing.
You can download a pdf that shows our latest design progress by clicking the button below or you can download the designs pdfs for a specific section by scrolling down to that section's information.
We welcome your suggestions on the data that we should include and how it should be presented. Our data derive from the drug sponsors, www.clinicaltrials.gov, and other sources and will grow over time.
Please send your comments for improvement to Barbara Laughon at BLAUGHON@niaid.nih.gov
A list of clinical trial sites - both those that are or have engaged in TB drug registration trials as well as those that have not yet done so. This database has a gallery page that allows users to narrow their search using keywords or by checking boxes to show specific criteria such as Country, Sponsor, Network, whether they have access to MDR or HIV/TB patients, etc.
If you would like to submit your site for this database, please email Cherise Scott at wgnd@newtbdrugs.org

A list of TB drug trials consisting of basic information with links to ClinicalTrial.gov, WHO clinical trial database, and other trial databases as appropriate. Additional information may also include current enrollment and links to publications/presentations about the trial. This section is unique from these source clinical trial databases in that it is narrowly focused on tuberculosis drug trials and is designed for investigators and not for recruiting patients. This section will provide a clear landscape of ongoing trials and enhance the quality of information currently available.
