As a member of the Drug Discovery team at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, I am extensively involved in TB drug discovery through managing grants to researchers in TB as well as working with Pharma companies that wish to pursue TB drug R&D. The Working Group on New Drugs is an excellent forum for sharing experiences in the TB drug discovery field that I would like to contribute to and benefit from.
