Dear Sir or Madame, As Director of THINK, no-profit research organisation based in South Africa, I have a vested interest in the development of new drugs for Tuberculosis, as well as the experience and capacity to assist in brining these forward. THINK conducts phase II-III clinical trials to this effect, including TB Alliance trials (NC002, NC005, NC006, NiX); the STREAM trial, OTSUKA phase II, Jansen paeidatric, CHAMP preventative trial for MDR TB in children. With access to populations with the highest burden of TB, drug resistant TB and HIV co-infection, we have valuable experience to contribute towards the goal of the WGND.
