Living in a country like India provides enormous opportunities to observe the widespread disparities among its people socially, economically and almost at every fundamental level of livelihood and existence. This phenomenon has been plaguing the country for the past several centuries, directly affecting the lives of a billion odd people. Research in molecular biology has several unanswered questions and I would like to be one among several people working towards the answers. I strongly believe that I have the commitment and stamina to achieve significantly and contribute a bit to the betterment of society especially to those suffering from infectious diseases like tuberculosis. Your membership will provide me with the best opportunity to become a productive member of society while making use of my intellectual talents in a career that I expect to be constantly challenging and fulfilling. I have experienced events which are outcomes of lack of economic efficiency. In order to fulfil my goals, I want to learn the other side of economics from those who have successfully implemented the theories and concepts to this cause.
