In addition, Dr. Fourie is an Extraordinary Professor of Medical Microbiology at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. In the interview, we discuss the ongoing projects at the Drug Research Laboratory at MEND-SA, a research and development center with the mission to developing and applying innovative approaches to the formulation and optimization of existing drugs for the treatment of tuberculosis.
