Dear Partners and Friends,

Stop TB Partnership

The United Nations High-level Plenary Meeting on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG Summit) will take place next week, from 20-22 September, in New York. This is an important moment to make the case for increased and continued commitments in the fight against TB.

We have prepared a one-page document with key messages on why fighting TB is critical to achieving the MDGs overall. We encourage you to share it widely and also to deliver its key messages – whether you are traveling to the summit, speaking to media or using the occasion of the summit to seek political commitment in your country.

You can link to the document here (.pdf – 365kb).

Many thanks and warm regards,

On behalf of Dr Giuliano Gargioni, Executive Secretary a.i., Stop TB Partnership
