We invite you to join us for the Stop TB Partnership Working Group on New Drugs’ Annual Meeting 2011 at the Grand Palais in Lille, France, on October 26. Also, we are sponsoring a dinner on October 25 at Le Barbue d’Anvers in Lille to allow our Sub-groups (Biology/Targets, Candidates, Critical Knowledge and Tools, and Clinical Trial Capacity) to meet and plan for activities for 2012. DESCRIPTION: All WGND members who will be attending the events in Lille are invited to a dinner sponsored by the WGND. The dinner will be an opportunity for members of each WGND Subgroup (Biology/Targets, Candidates, Critical Knowledge and Tools, Clinical Trial Capacity) to discuss and plan for 2012 activities and provide feedback on 2011 activities. If you have not officially joined a specific subgroup, we encourage you to attend the dinner take the opportunity to see what the subgroups are doing and join in the discussions. DESCRIPTION: The WGND will host our annual meeting at the start of the 42nd Union World Conference on Lung Health (The Union) in Lille, France. During the meeting we will review progress of projects in the Global TB Drug Pipeline, review WGND 2011 activities, and network. Representatives from the following organizations and companies are confirmed to speak: AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Novartis, Pfizer, Sanofi-aventis, Sequella, Stop TB Partnership Working Group on New Diagnositcs, TB Alliance, Tibotec, Tuberculosis Trials Consortium.
