Summary Available! TB Clinical Trials Consultants Meeting

On November 17 and 18, a TB Clinical Trials Consultants Meeting was held at St. George’s, University of London. The meeting was organized by CDC, CPTR, INTERTB, NIH, and TB Alliance. The meeting was convened to catalog expert opinion on the conduct of Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials in tuberculosis. Sessions included:

  • Session 1: Clinical aspects of Phase 2 studies measuring sputum mycobacterial load over time
  • Session 2: Laboratory aspects of Phase 2 studies measuring sputum mycobacterial load over time
  • Session 3: Analytical aspects of Phase 2 studies measuring sputum mycobacterial load over time
  • Session 4: Clinical aspects of Phase 3 studies
  • Session 5: Laboratory aspects of Phase 3 studies
  • Session 6: Analytical aspects / endpoints of Phase 3 studies
