2012 WGND Annual Meeting is Nov 14 in Kuala Lumpur

We invite you to join us for the Stop TB Partnership Working Group on New Drugs’ 2012 Annual Meeting at the Impiana KLCC Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday, November 14.

Also, we are sponsoring a lunch to allow the Sub-groups (Biology/Targets, Candidates, Critical Knowledge and Tools, and Clinical Trial Capacity) to meet and plan for activities for 2013. Please make plans to attend both events.

DESCRIPTION: All WGND members and those interested in becoming members who will be attending the events in Kuala Lumpur are invited to a lunch sponsored by the WGND. The lunch will be an opportunity for members of each WGND Subgroup (Biology/Targets, Candidates, Critical Knowledge and Tools, Clinical Trial Capacity) to discuss and plan for 2013 activities and provide feedback on 2012 activities. If you have not officially joined a specific subgroup, we encourage you to attend the lunch and take the opportunity to see what the subgroups are doing and join in the discussions.

DESCRIPTION: The WGND will host our annual meeting at the start of the 43rd Union World Conference on Lung Health (The Union) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During the meeting we will review and discuss progress of projects in the Global TB Drug Pipeline and Drug Discovery Portfolio, review WGND 2012 activities, and discuss other relevant topics. Representatives from pharmaceutical companies, research consortia and organizations, NGOs and academia will be participating.
